customer relations assistant

The Role

We are currently looking to add a customer relations assistant to our office staff based in Watford/Bushey. The role is 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri, 09:00-17:30. Part-time can be considered for the right candidate but full-time is preferred. 

The successful candidate will be required to perform several duties, the most recurrent being answering and replying to customer queries (telephone/email commonly), assisting the sales team and taking part in projects that assist in growing and improving the business. 

The ideal candidate must be: 

  •  A team player – this is a very important trait when working within a small business. 
  •  A positive thinker. 
  •  Organised with good attention to detail. 
  •  Able to move freely between tasks/projects.
  •  Trustworthy, honest and responsible with a ‘can do’ attitude. 
  •  Willing to go above and beyond when required. 
  •  Over 18, available for full-time work and authorised to work in the UK. 

Skills required: 

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English. 
  •  IT - confident in using Microsoft Office (mainly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word). 
  •  A good telephone manner. 


  • Some experience in the gift and/or retail industries.
  •  Previous experience in a similar customer support role. 

Salary: Up to £22,000 per year
